We keep this short. Vinted Manager uses three kinds of cookies: a small set that are always on (because the site can't function without them), and two optional sets you can turn on or off at any time.
Strictly necessary
These three cookies are always set. They don't track you across the web and we can't legally ask permission for them — they're what keeps the site working.
vm_session— keeps you signed in for 30 days.vm_lang— remembers whether you prefer Dutch or English (90 days).vm_consent— stores the choices you make on this page (1 year).
Analytics — only if you opt in
If you turn this on, we count anonymous pageviews to see which parts of the site get used. We hash your IP address and browser fingerprint together with a server secret before storing — we never see your raw IP. Everything runs on our own server: no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no third-party tracking.
Advertising — only if you opt in
If you turn this on, we may load small tracking pixels from our advertising
partners so we can tell whether the ad you clicked actually worked. Those
partners (and only when you've consented) set their own cookies under their
own domains. We also set a small vm_utm cookie that remembers
which campaign brought you to the site — purely so we know which ad to spend
more on.
If you decline, no ad pixels load at all. The site works exactly the same.
Browser extension
The Vinted Manager Connector extension (Chrome) reads two cookies from vinted.nl that your browser
already has when you're logged in: access_token_web and refresh_token_web. These
are sent over a secure (HTTPS) connection to our server whenever you open Vinted Manager, so your Vinted
connection stays automatically in sync — nothing to paste manually. The extension never modifies, deletes,
or shares your Vinted cookies with any third party; it only reads them and forwards them to our own
server, where they're stored encrypted (the same encryption used for the manual cookie-paste flow in
Settings). The extension only runs on vinted.nl and vintedmanager.com — no other site. You can disconnect
at any time via Settings → Disconnect, or disable/remove the extension from Chrome.
Changing your mind
You can re-open the preferences panel any time via this link or the "Cookies" link at the bottom of the homepage. Your previous choice is overwritten as soon as you save the new one — no need to clear browser cookies.
Your rights under GDPR
If you're in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent for any optional processing at any time. For data requests, email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.
